23 Foreign fund managers target five companies

SINGAPORE: Twenty three companies that manage a total fund of US$6,500 billion eye shares of five Indonesia\’s listed companies.
Now, the portfolio fund management companies which are clients of Daiwa Capital Markets Singapore Ltd are involved in one-on-one meeting with five listed companies from Indonesia.
“Non-deal road show is intended to bring together investors and companies. We invite investors and companies to present their performance update without a certain deal,” Orias Petrus Moedak, Managing Director and Head of Indonesia Coverage Investment Banking Daiwa Capital Markets, said amidst one-on-one meeting in Singapore, this morning.
The one-on-one meeting forms part of an event titled \’Best of Indonesia 2010\’, which is jointly held by Indonesia Stock Exchange and Daiwa Capital Markets, to promote Indonesia\’s listed companies to Daiwa’s clients based in Singapore and Japan.
The Indonesia’s five companies currently involved in one-on-one meeting are PT Astra International Tbk, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk, PT Indika Energy Tbk, PT Semen Gresik Tbk, and PT Global Mediacom Tbk.
At this time, the 23 foreign investment managers have managed around US$12 billion to US$1,259 billion fund.(T01/NOM)
